چکیده

This paper presents a novel inkjet-printed near-field ultra-high-frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tag/sensor design with uniform magnetic field characteristics. The proposed tag is designed using the theory of characteristics mode (TCM). Moreover, uniformity current and performance achieved by further optimizing particle swarm optimization (PSO). Compared to traditional electrically small tags, this uses logarithmic spiral as radiating structure. benefit structure lies in its receiving area that can be extended reach higher reading distance. combination TCM PSO used get desired resonant frequency. was exploited horizontal plane normal phase UHF RFID reader antenna. As compared frequently-used commercial near (Impinj J41), our readable up three times greater read Furthermore, shows great potential for item-level tagging expensive jewelry products sensing applications, such temperature monitoring human body.

Multiport Circular Polarized RFID-Tag Antenna for UHF Sensor Applications

A circular polarized patch antenna for UHF RFID tag-based sensor applications is presented, with the circular polarization (CP) generated by a new antenna shape, an asymmetric stars shaped slotted microstrip patch antenna (CP-ASSSMP). Four stars etched on the patch allow the antenna's size to be reduced by close to 20%. The proposed antenna is matched with two RFID chips via inductive-loop matc...

Dual-band RFID tag antenna based on the Hilbert-curve fractal for HF and UHF applications

A novel single-radiator card-type tag is proposed which is constructed using a series Hilbert-curve loop and matched stub for high frequency (HF)/ultra high frequency (UHF) dual-band radio frequency identification (RFID) positioning applications. This is achieved by merging the series Hilbert-curve for implementing the HF coil antenna, and square loop structure for implementing the UHF antenna ...
